RED BLOOD. WHITE SUIT. AND BLUE SKY.
For daredevils and dreamers of all ages, come discover the spectacle that was the death-defying Evel Knievel show, barreling into Topeka, Kansas in 2017. Witness the incredible collection of the physics-defying bikes that launched the legend. See his iconic 1974 Mack Truck & Trailer "Big Red". Examine the star-spangled helmets (battered, and beaten and beautiful) that undoubtedly saved Evel’s uninsurable life more than once. Listen to the eye-widening, imagination-sparking, and the doesn’t-seem-possible stories that defined an American icon.
YOU CAN'T LOOK AWAY. AND HE WOULDN'T WANT YOU TO.
It doesn’t matter how many times you watch him jump, it’s always a hair-raising experience. Nothing showed his preference for showmanship over sanity like his attempt at Caesars Palace. That’s the spirit we’re recapturing and bringing to a whole new generation with the Evel Knievel Thrill Show Museum.
NEWS & UPDATES
FOUR DECADES LATER AND EVEL'S STILL MAKING HEADLINES.
From construction updates and field trip opportunities to rip-roaring, newly acquired Knievel rarities, this is where you’ll find the latest and greatest announcements about our daredevil’s museum of triumph, carnage and courage.
KANSAS: NOW WITH MORE VEGAS.
So why build a grand tribute to high-flying rebellion in Topeka? As always with Evel, the “why” is fantastic and a little fuzzy. Maybe it’s because being in the middle of the country means we’re just a few broken speed limits away from anyone who wants to relive his legacy. Maybe it’s because it’s where Joie Chitwood, stuntman and inspiration to a fifteen-year-old Knievel, got his start. Maybe it’s because we just thought it’d be cool to build an Evel Knievel museum connected to one of the most iconic Harley-Davidson stores in the nation.
Or maybe when you’re inspired to create a tribute to America’s most iconic daredevil, you drop everything and start chasing the dream from wherever you are. For us, that’s Topeka.
UNLIKE EVEL, WE OPEN ALL OF OUR FAN MAIL.
The sparks and dust are still flying around here, but if there’s anything we can do for you before we bring this museum roaring to life, just let us know.
